On April 1st 2018 me and my husband stopped at the 7-11 on SR 46 in Sanford FL. My husband went in with two dollars, cash, paid, came out and he headed back to the car and started pumping the gas. Maybe a minute later the employee, Ms. Tiffany comes out yelling "Sir, sir! I can't take this dollar." he asks why and she claims the single to be fake. I hear the conversation and how she is going about this and I step out of my car, approach her, and ask why she couldn't take the dollar not liking her attitude to begin with, and she replies telling me she is claiming it to be fake. I at this point am irritated not only at her attitude but her accusation, I look at her name tag, say "Tiffany, okay." then prepare to walk away. Ms. Tiffany proceeds to get irate and the worst attitude I've seen someone have in a long time and comes up and says, "Yeah Tiffany get a good look at it, I've worked here for 3 years and they're not going to fire me, I can refuse to take any money I claim is fake." as she's holding up her name tag on her shirt pointing at it to make a point. There was also a customer getting gas standing right next to us who witnessed and heard this entire conversation, as she came out to the middle of the parking lot in between the gas pumps. If you think money is fake you have pens or ways to check, among other procedures, on top of you're supposed to be trained, and decent, in customer service. I don't often complain, nor do I think it will do anything, but I am pretty angry at the way I was treated and spoken to, I'm disappointed that your company hires such poor employees that don't know simple customer service, or how to handle situations that arise in the workplace. I'm annoyed she accused us of giving her fake money, but honestly I probably would have just forgotten about it until she reacted with such a nasty attitude. I don't plan on coming back and I will tell my friends and family the same, as we live in the area and travel often and there are other gas stations close by.
