Amrit Palace

We had been here before and it was a wonderful surprise. Lively, delicious and fun. We miss the many excellent Indian menu options we had where we lived before, so when we had an anniversary event we drove 50 minutes from Crystal River just to have some time together here. I'm sorry we did. The waiter overrode my wife's decision on how hot she wanted her meal and it had to go back because it wasn't hot enough. The waiter brought me the wrong dish and seemed confused when I told him I wanted what I ordered. We repeatedly had to get things we needed (a menu, water) ourselves, and would have ordered more if our waiter came back. Thanks to the other staff that did cover for his lapses from time to time. It's a shame, because the food is excellent. We probably just had bad luck with our table, and I'm not sure if we'll make the trip again.
