Big Kahuna’s

This place is awesome! Went there for lunch today with a friend and the staff was so helpful and friendly. I was concerned that the regular sized bowl wouldn't be enough, but I couldn't even finish it. The fish was excellent and the selection of toppings were all fantastic. While we were finishing up our lunch, an employee brought us a sample of their dole whip and it was such a wonderful finish to our delicious meal. Ready to go back tomorrow!

After numerous failed attempts at getting authentic, fresh Hawaiian poke outside of Hawaii, we landed here based on the 5-star average on 101 reviews (as of 04/21/18). This is the real deal: fresh sashimi grade ahi in a build-your-own poke bowl counter-serve setup. Rice was fluffy, ahi was melt-in-your-mouth soft, seaweed was perfectly seasoned, ponzu/spicy mayo were spot-on, and the masago was a nice finishing touch. We will definitely be back again. --------- And I sure hope Alex Nieves, former homeless person turned Google food-critic, returns to whatever planet he came here from, because clearly he either ate somewhere else or is lacking the neural pathway that links his brain to his taste-buds.
