Update 2. Given the circumstances described below, the shop has done a nice job of being responsive to several small items we needed fixed following the original repair.
Update 1. The owner called me and I am satisfied with his response. He seems like a nice enough guy. It was an unfortunate circumstance and being a former business owner I understand how employees can often fall off the tracks. Original post below has been edited to just state the facts.
The GPS tracker in my mother's car logged 147 miles during the 12 days this shop had her car. The tracker logged all of the miles and routes. Recorded all the starts and stops and idling time. Many trips were taken at 130 - 6 am (see screenshot attached). The car spent a lot of time at 1459 Murillo loop around the corner from the shop (see other screenshot attached).
I presented the data from the tracker to the manager and she was very upset and promised I would get a call from the owner. Which eventually happened as I mentioned above, but it was only after I made 4 calls to the shop over a period a week. The car looks great and they detailed the inside.
