Deep Creek Preserve

Pleasant and Enjoyable Experience. Although I was only briefly out of ear shot of the cars on 415, this area really offered a pleasing nature experience. I saw 3 dears, and accidentally punted a snake (while trying to shoo away a buzzy flying creature). The snake was OK, and is pictured below. There were houses on the right and left when I first started and again down the side that parallels 415. There was also a Ranch along the trail and a large open shed with building materials and equipment. I prefer hikes that take me a little more away from mankind. Still it was an overall pleasing experience, and I had a great time. Getting some wonderful pictures as well.
