I’ve been going to this barbershop for my boys for a good while now. They’ve always been pretty good except for me having to talk through a third party which is fine whom am I to judge. I had to point out some things that wasn’t done that I knew they knew had to be done in order for the hair cut to be completed. That’s about it until today!!!! I’m going to backtrack for minute... Yesterday the 11th around 5:00pm I called Eagle Eye Barbershop and asked them if they would be able to do a AFO TAPER on my sons head on the 12th at anytime. We talk for a minute he was like oh yeah I know your son yes will be able to @ 9:00am. We ended up getting there @ 9:06AM. I drop my son off at the door he entered and I went to find a parking spot, because the parking lot was full as always. So I entered into the barbershop, and I approached the barber who was about to cut my sons hair. I said hello we’re your 9 o’clock appointment we’re here for the Afro Taper / Taper Afro and his eyebrows we called last night. He looked up and the other barber went to telling him in Spanish which is fine and he said OK. It took forever which is fine also, because it takes time for success nothing happens overnight. But once he let my son out of the chair I said Sir Afro taper. This is not a Afro taper he looked at the other barber and spoke in Spanish and the other Barbara said your son told him not to shape it. I said so my 14-year-old son told him in Spanish to just edge him and do his eyebrows huh. (My son don’t speak Spanish) How much is this going to cost me I asked... He said $15.00 mind me even if my son did speak Spanish which he doesn’t and was able to tell him this. My 14-year-old son was not paying for this haircut, and I did let that be known as well. I said OK sir I can see there has been a misunderstanding although I called last night and told you when I got here exactly what I was looking for you to do to my sons head. Now can You please finish my sons Afro taper of course he didn’t understand what I said but the other Barbara said he has more customers. He kept saying what my son said so that justifies why he couldn’t finish it. So I paid him “he best be glad I got Jesus because before I would’ve not paid him. Once I left and got home I had to humble myself and think about the situation. Once I did humble myself I called Eagle eye barbershop. I made sure I was speaking to the right person and I told him once a parent bring their child to your establishment and tell you they want something done to their kids head you are supposed to do so. Even if they drop their child off although I sat there with my child of course. You do what the parent tells you to do because the parent is paying. He kept contradicting himself saying he understands what I am saying and then saying that I’m just seeing it from a parent’s perspective, but what they do is listen to who is in their chair it’s my son’s fault. So I told him that I will fix this I’ll just write a review about my visit today. I said have a wonderful day and God bless you and I hung up. Not even a minute later he calls me back saying oh bring him back in two hours and he will finish it... I did not take my son back in. I am now going to have to find another barber it’s just so hard to find a barber that takes mom’s seriously and not try to play over their kids heads as if moms don’t know what’s what. This just shows that It’s so sad to see that a review is more important then their customers. Or it could just be more important then my son and I. Eagle Eye Barbershop get it together and your fired.. Here’s an Update for you all I really wish I had some good news or non at all but, of course on the 15th @ 10:02am. I was sitting @ the dental office with my child. When all of a sudden Eagle Eye Barber Studio decided to call me and thank me for my review being sarcastic. The audacity of them instead of apologizing for their wrong doing. They go and do this it’s just so sad, disrespectful and, unprofessional I just said your welcome.
Have been cutting my hair with edwin for the past 6 years, do not trust another barber . Great shop, great cuts!
