The reviewer who complained about access doesn't realize that "Parks" with the express purpose of hosting sporting venues all control access. You can't show up to any sporting Field controlled by the city and play on it without getting permission to use it. We belong to the soccer club that paid for the renovation of these fields. The controlled access prevents people from ripping the grass apart. We paid thousands of dollars for this renovation in an agreement with the city. The city still allows access to non club members though, but you have to sign for the field. This is a great place for sports, and during its use hours, lots of people use and enjoy it.
