Stewart is the consummate charter Captain and that's why I've fished with him a number of times now. Last Monday three of us went out with Stewart targeting Sea Trout and Red Fish. Our first stop was a frenzy of catching fish. Within a short period of time we had our limits of large Sea Trout. That left us with plenty of time to fish for Red Fish on the incoming tide. The first cast on our second stop ... Red Fish on! For the next few hours we caught and released approx. 18 Red Fish (keeping only three). What a fun and productive day.
It's not only that he knows the he where the fish are, Stewart also provides excellent rods and reels in top working order plus his boat is spotless. There's another factor that made our trip a success; the live bait Stewart caught prior to our meeting him at Marino's marina.
One of our group was relatively new to fishing so Stewart went into teaching mode and with patience our rookie was soon catching and catching. Kind of like no-fault fishing - you lose a fish but then Stewart is there with a new bait ready and a few tips on what to do when the next fish bites.
