Two days before we were scheduled to arrive, the owner of Pristine Properties- Florida (Justin) called me to tell me there was an "issue" with our condo, and would I mind coming in the summer instead, and they'd even throw in a free weekend. I had booked this condo two months prior, and my friend and I were taking our 6 kids there for spring break, so I told him no, we did not want to come in the summer, we were planning to be there in two days! He said he would call me back, which he did two hours later, and he said he would do everything possible to resolve the "issue" by the time of our arrival. So, of course, I was worried that something was going to be wrong with our condo when we got there, and I was stressed out about the whole thing for two days! I was so nervous as we drove for 17 hours from Michigan that we might not even have a place to stay. The condo turned out to be amazing, no issues that I could see; but why did the owner of Pristine Properties do that to me? Also, Pristine Properties never told me that I would need a code to enter the parking lot upon arrival, and also the pool area. Seriously, they never mentioned anything about a code other than to access the door on our condo! I had to find out the code just to get in and park from another guest staying in another condo! I am totally not impressed by the customer service I received from Pristine Properties, however the condo turned out to be wonderful-- great location and very nice pool and hot tub. The beds could stand to be upgraded, they seemed to be very basic quality, and a bigger dining table (not glass) with more chairs would be nice. Mexico Beach is a dream come true, and it's a very short walk across the street. There are many condos offered in this area through Home Away and Airbnb, so you might want to book through them to save yourself a headache.
