Whern we arrived, the group ahead of us had 5 people, which was a problem, because they had 4 top tables, so would provide an extra chair to squeeze (seems an odd solution for 5 adults). We were a party of four and were promptly steered around them to sit. Noted on the way to our table it is apparently customary to throw peanut shells on the floor from the large bucket of peanuts placed on your table. Crunching under foot at a restaurant is unusual. We had a food allergy, however we were told that they had no printed allergy menu, we could check the website on our phones [only very basic info there]. The waitress was very nice, but did not seem to have any allergy training, odd at a chain restaurant. The waitress was very willing to go back to the kitchen and ask questions, but this made the ordering process clumsy and long. Everything else was pretty good. The food was all fresh, with cold salads and hot entrees promptly served. We had one rare, one medium rare and two medium steaks, all served together and cooked perfectly to order. Nicely trimmed, with just enough fat for cooking. Drinks were refilled as they got low, she gave attention without overwhelming us.
Overall, would recommend for families that want a decent steak, without breaking the bank, at a place where the kids can be a little wiggly and noisy. Just not if you have any food allergies.
